Hour-by-Hour, Step-by-Step Graphite Pencil Portrait

Take an hour-by-hour peek over my shoulder while I work on this graphite pencil portrait of our dear late Irish Setter Maggie. Black-and-white pencil portraits take about eight to ten hours to draw from sketch to completion. I scanned this drawing about every hour to show how I build up a drawing over time.
