The usual time for delivery of a portrait during non-rush seasons is two to three weeks (not including shipping time) after we sign the Commission Agreement and I have your photos in hand. That is enough time that I can email you to get your suggestions and/or approvals, for you to respond, and for me to make any changes needed.
Around the holidays, it gets much busier, so I start taking Christmas orders in October. Realistically, all Christmas orders need to be in by December 7. I will try my best to do orders that come in after that, but it may not be possible. In that case, I will be happy to issue a gift certificate.
It depends on whether the work I'm in the midst of has a flexible deadline. I will do the best I can to accommodate rush jobs. Gift certificates are available when time is limited.
Yes! When there isn't enough time to get a portrait done before the special occasion (portraits take extra lead time other gifts don't have);
Gift certificates can be the gift of choice if you don't have access to photos of your gift recipient's pet or if looking for photos would ruin the surprise.
You can buy a gift certificate for the full amount of the portrait or pay an amount toward a portrait by emailing me the amount.

Yes. I understand being nervous about ordering a portrait from an artist you've never met! That's why I offer a guarantee where I assume the risk, not you. You do not take delivery if you are not 100% delighted with the final scan of your pet's portrait. You will not owe the balance of the commission payment and I will even refund your 30% deposit. (If this should happen, I will keep the portrait, which will be offered for sale to other buyers.)
